I’m on the cusp of Millennial and Gen Z, so gather your assumptions. Yes, I’ll admit, I spend too much time on Instagram and take a lot of photos of my surroundings. I have an excuse to do this, though, because I work in digital marketing and communications (and sharing creative content is what I believe moves the world forward).
When I was in high school, the school counselor told me that going to college for photography probably wasn’t the best fit for me, so I started off as an education major. One year later, I rediscovered a passion for content marketing when I switched to the Communication and Media program at Nazareth College.
Before all of this, I was a kid stealing her mom’s flip phone to take photos of sunsets. I love the potential for telling stories through photos and written pieces. I believe there’s a narrative behind everything just waiting to be told by the right person at the right time.
